Company Overview:  Integrated 3D LLC (i3DMFG) is the premier 3D metal manufacturing company in the Pacific Northwest. Our production facility is in Redmond, OR. We are seeking a select group of experienced, highly motivated, forward-thinking individuals to join our expert team.

Position Overview:  The LEAN Process/RCCA Specialist will be responsible for high-level administration and organizational support for our manufacturing processes. The technical acumen of an ideal candidate includes responsibility for implementation and development of the LEAN production system in the technology and elaborating best practice solutions for the i3D LLC ecosystem.  Furthermore, the ideal candidate is self-motivated, has a strong attention to detail with an organizational and detailed mindset, proactively takes ownership of his/her responsibilities, is punctual in attendance and meeting goals, and remains flexible with scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Improving processes and application of lean methods within the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Identifying actively and autonomously the process improvement potentials (cost, assembly time, quality, ergonomics, etc.) and initiating necessary actions with the partners in the lean management core team.
  • Being responsible for implementation and development of the lean production system in the technology and elaborating best practice solutions for the new facility.
  • Supporting planning and production in the implementation of product changes in series production.

    • Pursuing Perfection
  • Performing LEAN management training and workshops in the direct and indirect area.
  • RCCA role: Elaborating potentials for preventive quality optimization. Initializing corrective actions in case of quality deviations.
  • Document root cause and corrective action incidents and how they impact production, scrap rate and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Troubleshooting in detail to resolve production issues by using the 5 Why’s.
Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualifications in the related field of manufacturing are valuable. Preferred but not mandatory the Bachelor´s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field of study.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or similar positions, specifically in the production area.
  • A high degree of flexibility, motivation, and a sense of responsibility.
  • Has the ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work extra to meet production month end goals.
  • Familiar with DMAIC. Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control.

 

Preferred Plus:

  • Accredited LEAN Six Sigma Training certification.
  • RCCA Certification.

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication.
  • Working knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Open Project)
  • Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) experience a plus.
  • CAD experience a plus.
  • Background in metal fabrication, mechanical, or construction is a plus.
  • Proficient at working with your hands using various tools is a plus.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Experience in a regulated environment, such as ISO, AS9100, ITAR.
  • Working in a manufacturing shop environment a plus.
  • Critical thinker.
